I specialize in web development and UI/UX engineering, mixing aesthetics with function to create clean, minimal, and purposeful experiences. I love digging into how things work, reading source code just for fun, and Iā€™m constantly looking for ways to make software impress you!

I'm originally from Riga, Latvia. I am a native Russian speaker. Currently, I am based in Middelburg, Netherlands, where I studied ICT at HZ University. I'm a big fan of indie games, electronic music, stylish movies, cooking, and Asian food! šŸ£ šŸ± šŸœ

Skills

I'm most familiar with JavaScript, TypeScript & Node.js. For UIs, I usually use React or Svelte. I have also written some Python, Ruby & Swift code.

Research at JRCZ Data Science Labs (2025)
Developed an open-source AI tool for generating documentation using Astro, React and AI SDK. Conducted research, integrated several local LLMs, and built an AI system for documenting research center projects.

Software Engineer at Montel (2023 - 2024)
Worked at Montel EnAppSys on a web app to visualize congestion data in the Zeeland electricity grid. I designed and developed a web app featuring an interactive map using React and Mapbox.

Fullstack Engineer at Deta (2022 - 2023)
Worked as a full-stack engineer at Deta , where I developed Deta Space, an innovative personal cloud platform for web apps. Migrated the old codebase from React to Svelte and designed user interfaces in Figma.

Developer at Generation Partners Ltd. (2019 - 2022)
Developed and deployed an internal ERP platform for an international, multi-office finance company. Delivered features for resource planning, role-based access, in-app chat, file management, and Telegram integration.

Website for Car Rental Company (2020)
Developed website for Latvian car rental company Vip-Rent , using Express & MongoDB.

Worked as a freelancer for various financial companies. Developed several dashboards using the React / Node.js / MongoDB stack.
